Inspired by real-world examples, particularly Jane Douglas from Outside Xbox, I've revisited my mouse-weasel model created using Houdini .hda procedural Fur Cards. After achieving success with this design, I aimed to enhance its hair texture. From a technical standpoint, the improved look is more noticeable in Opacity blending mode when Cavity is enabled. However, this modification does come at the cost of reduced performance on my modest computer system. Despite this trade-off, I'm pleased with the dithered effect achieved by disabling Cavity. The updated material is now available for download on Substance Share, pending its approval by their review team.
