For those eager to bring a life-size bust of Jan Scheele, director of Ted X Amsterdam, into their possession, now is the perfect chance! As for Jan himself, we created him in neutral ABS so that we could later transform it into a beautiful bronze masterpiece. And let's be honest - both he and we are extremely satisfied with the result! Here are some instructions to replicate this incredible model: We printed each part with a mere 10% infill to prevent distortion from warp along the edges, which can be catastrophic when working with massive prints like this one. If we had tried printing without infill, although the parts would have looked fine initially, the edges wouldn't have matched up properly. So we opted for the safety net of infill instead. When using ABS as our material of choice, bonding the parts together was a relatively straightforward process thanks to ABS juice - all it took was a bit of careful application!
