James Webb Telescop Mirror

This is my James Webb mirror. I wanted one that was completely printable, outside of the mirrors and is designed to work with 10cm mirrors bought from Amazon, linked below. This requires about 3.5kg of filament, and will weigh a similar amount at about 3.4kg or 7.5lbs. Total print time for my printer was about 3 weeks with near round the clock printing and including some failed prints. Each file name has the amount of parts needing to be printed, IE: "james webb hex panel x19.stl" means you need to print 19 panels for it. I couldn't print full panels so I had to print the divided ones, which I included a test print for the notch in it to check your tolerances, and then glued together using Gorilla glue. If you can print a single panel you'll need 19 less connectors. I recommend printing the panels face down with supports on, I've included a screen shot to illustrate. After everything prints simply glue together, I recommend creating 5 long panels and then I glued the connectors in one side and then used hot glue for the other side to allow it to be broken down in case storage or transport is required. CAUTION: For the mirror panels I found gluing with E6000, hot glue, to cause damage to the panels, even after assembly the Gorilla glue caused some warping so I now recommend using a thin double sided mounting tape for it. Also I would recommend mounting the mirrors as a last thing after assembly to keep them as safe and blemish free as possible, also to allow sanding, and possibly clear coating of the PLA to create a better look I've included a STL for 2 different screw mounts, one has a place for 2 screws and the other is a single screw. I also included a component to allow mounting using stranded picture wire, which is the route I decided to take. If you choose to undertake this print then I wish you a good fortune.
