A clock designed to look like the mirror array of the James Webb Space Telescope. The clock face is assembled out of interlocking hexagonal panels with outer frame pieces printed separately. The clock face measures 3' 3/4" (.93m) around You will need: -~2 kg of filament -Spray adhesive -Super glue (optional) -170mm Hexagonal Plastic Mirrors 18x -10mm m3 Bolts 157x -m3 nyloc nuts 157x -Clock movement Printing Instructions: Print the Clock panel and mirror panels face down on the print bed to keep them as flat as possible. The clock panel can be printed on a textured bed, but the mirror panels should be printed on a smooth bed for better adhesion to the mirrors. Assembly Instructions: 1. Keep the protective film on the mirrors until assembly is finished. Use the spray adhesive on the back of the mirrors, wait until the glue is tacky, then place the mirrors on the mirror panels. Take care to make them as centered as possible. 2. Starting with the clock panel, attach the mirror panels around it face down on a flat surface. Super glue can be used to hold the panels in place to position them better for bolting. Tighten the bolts until just snug to avoid warping. 3. Install the clock movement and hang on wall.
