James Tedesco - model for 3D printing
sketchfab
A client requested a 3D model that could be printed using a 3D printer. The subject chosen was James Tedesco, a Rugby player for the Roosters. The model was created entirely within Zbrush. Initially, fibremesh was used to create body hair, facial hair, and head hair, but these details proved too intricate for the client's 3D printer after conducting a test print. Following this discovery, hand-sculpted hair replaced fibremesh on the head, while the entire body and facial hair sections were scrapped as they were deemed unnecessary since the model would be painted post-printing. The creation of the 3D model took approximately 18 hours to complete, including feedback sessions with the client. In addition to the model itself, a round base with a support pole was created, which resulted in the hole on the left leg.
