This is the James Monroe Museum at 908 Charles St in Fredericksburg, VA. The building has been home to one of the largest collections of Monroe-related artifacts since it opened its doors back in 1927. Initially thought to be his law office, preservation work undertaken in the 1980s surprisingly revealed that the three original sections dating from the 19th century were actually constructed too late to have stood tall during Monroe's time in Fredericksburg.
