Patrick Baker's photographs of the James Matthews wreckage taken between 1973 and 1977 were utilized to generate a digital 3D model. The creation of this model was a collaborative effort involving Daniel Adams, Andrew Woods from Curtin University's HIVE, and Trevor Winton, a PhD Candidate at Flinders University. This remarkable achievement has brought new insights into the maritime history of Western Australia through Treasures From The Deep series by the WA Maritime Archaeology Team.
