James Daisy

My wife insisted on the James daisy and logo design. They're our band's signature elements, making it hard for me to say no. Hopefully, you'll like how they turned out :). Print Settings Printer: PrintRite DIY with Ramps1.4 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.1 Infill: 30% Notes: I'm not sure if the print settings made a huge difference. The design is a 2mm high plaque with an additional 2mm relief. I printed at 0.1 but think 0.2 would be a good alternative. How I Created This I used Inkscape to convert a bitmap of the logo into vectors. Then, I imported the vectors into 3DSMax and employed ProBoolean to attach the vectors onto a box, before extruding its faces. Next, I applied ProOptimize to reduce the vertex count and exported the STL file. Since this was my first time doing it, there's likely a better workflow for achieving similar results.
