JAL- Pulley Blocks for 6mm GT2 belts and 2020 extrusion
thingiverse
These versatile pulley-blocks can be mounted to 2020 aluminum extrusions and are ideal for creating prototypes that require movement using GT2 belts. They are designed with the following common components: • A 12.2mm diameter, 18mm flange, and 5mm inner diameter pulley with no teeth. Example: https://spool3d.ca/pulley-no-teeth-12-2mm-diameter-18mm-flange/ • A 5mm shoulder diameter, 20mm shoulder length, M4 thread hex socket shoulder bolt. Example: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07VS185M4/ Part 1: "Two Pulley Block" holds two pulleys above each other on the top of a 2020 extrusion, perfect for making a Core-XY printer prototype. Required parts: • 1 M4 T-nut for 2020 extrusion • 1 hex socket shoulder bolt with 5mm shoulder diameter and 20mm shoulder length and M4 thread • 2 pulleys with no teeth, 12.2mm diameter, 18mm flange, and 5mm inner diameter Print it at 100% infill for added strength since it's small, thin, and can withstand a lot of strain. Part 2: "Single Pulley End Block" holds one pulley aligned with the end of a 2020 extrusion. Required parts: • 2 M4 T-nuts for 2020 extrusion • 2 M4x8mm screws (pan head or socket head work well) • 1 hex socket shoulder bolt with 5mm shoulder diameter and 20mm shoulder length and M4 thread • 1 pulley with no teeth, 12.2mm diameter, 18mm flange, and 5mm inner diameter Print it at 50% infill for added strength.
