JAL- Extruder for Ender 3
thingiverse
This is a re-designed Extruder for my Creality Ender 3 printer, engineered with specific goals in mind.\r\n1] The filament path is tightened, enabling printing with TPE90A (a flexible material).\r\n2] The filament input hole in the lever arm has increased clearance from the Z-Axis lead screw by altering the filament path angle.\r\n3] Greater tension is applied to the lever spring, increasing grip strength on the filament.\r\n4] A zip-tie attachment point facilitates cable management.\r\n\r\nTo utilize this design, you will need:\r\n• One M4 nut.\r\n• One M4x10 socket head screw. \r\n• 5cm or more of PTFE tube (bowden tubing).\r\nThe existing parts (spring, guide wheel, and screws) from the original Ender 3 extruder will be reused.\r\n\r\nThis re-designed Extruder consists of both the base and lever arm, which must be used together. The filament path is distinct, being 5 degrees off-angle and nearly 2mm higher than the original, making it incompatible with mixing-and-matching individual components.
