The atmosphere is misty on a smoky day at Narita, part of Tokyo's prefecture, while a CRJ-200 approaches from nearby Osaka, heading directly towards the foggy skies of Tokyo itself. The current time in Tokyo has reached 10:16 PM [22:16], casting an overwhelmingly dark tone. Currently soaring at 9,955 feet, suddenly and explosively, EERRWW ERRREWWWEE the aircraft hits turbulence! Birds flying through its wing prove too massive; the magnificent flock tears the wing right off! Pilots swiftly maneuver to prevent engines from taking damage. Control hovers over Narita, then swiftly loses as an error occurs with aerodynamics forces the aircraft down. Luckily, due to pilot mastery and crew aid, they manage to control but lose airworthiness almost instantly; after plummeting uncontrollably downwards for what felt like a moment too long – in all truth merely seconds! Suddenly spinning into runway 16L Narita Airport is close now – this means immediate recovery, the aircraft hovers for only about six short turns when pilots then desperately try and hold steady to compensate before, unfortunately still – falling down. Pilots yank up their plane with force; regrettably though, too little is gained as they slam hard against Narita Bridge – another loud explosion shatters both structure, door ripping away freely while internal vacuum sets loose panic among panicked victims rushing desperately to get away! Those on the ground watching have no words when cars are blasted beyond all recognition. In the chaos - twenty-four human lives come crashing out in all its horrific detail, their demise is instantly met – nine car-crash-related deaths confirmed immediately. Out of sixty-seven unfortunate souls caught within that fateful event – mere three will make miraculous escapes to see yet another day; forty-seven found within air-liner's steel womb and another twenty more unfortunate pedestrians lost when they happened upon this awful calamity while driving nearby their own four-wheeled cars. In total - all together 64 humans have sadly, permanently gone from life as it stands on the date these lines are drawn – crushed out beneath cold hard ground of reality itself.
