Jak's 3 Claw Walnut Gripper

Jak's 3 Claw Walnut Gripper

This is a 3-Claw Gripper, designed to make it easier to retrieve walnuts from trees. Manually operated, it uses a rubber band to close the claws around the walnut and three strings or wires to open them. The gripper should fit comfortably on the end of a broom handle, allowing you to reach into even the most distant branches. The Claw.v3 model features an extra-wide claw, intended to improve its ability to grip round objects securely. Print Settings: Printer: Inspire S250 Rafts: Any setting will do Supports: Ignore this option as well Resolution: 0.25mm Infill: 25% Notes: Print three of the Claw.v3 model (or use the older Claw.v2 version), and one base-round piece. These parts can be held together using a rubber band and some wire. I created this design by first sketching out an initial concept in pencil on paper. I then refined my idea using 123D Design software.
