I finally managed to lose the brake caliper guide pins on my Jaguar XJ40's brake calipers in a mysterious way (it's most likely my fault for forgetting to tighten them, but I'm not willing to admit it yet). I purchased some additional guide pins, but the caps were gone as well, so I decided to create a model based on one from the other front brake caliper. It ended up working incredibly well. The pre-1990 Jaguar XJ40 models have a different guide pin design that doesn't include these caps.
