JAGS (Just Another Gear Spinner)
thingiverse
This gear fidget spinner stands out because it relies solely on bearings for its outer gears. The inner gear, meanwhile, has no bearing at all and is kept firmly in place by contact with the outer gears alone. It's clear that this design will generate too much friction to spin freely for any considerable period of time - a few seconds max. Anyone who can successfully adapt and CNC this from aluminum or some other metal would be more than welcome to share their results. The center gear will likely require additional support, depending on the skill level of your 3D printer's bridging capabilities. It's worth noting that the finger pads are included with the main body .stl file, but I've also provided separate .stls for each in case you'd like to adjust their design so they protrude slightly from the completed spinner.
