Jagdkommando Knife - Sheath
thingiverse
After crafting the knife, I also wanted to design a matching sheath for display purposes. After conducting a quick search on Google for existing designs, I decided to create a simple one from scratch. To support the belt mount and brims of the sheath's parts, additional structural reinforcement was necessary. I carefully designed the dimensions to fit perfectly, so you may need to lightly sand the insert for the knife blade with 100-grit sandpaper until it fits snugly. Additionally, some sanding will be required on the connection ring at the top of the bottom part of the sheath before applying epoxy glue to secure them together permanently. To ensure a secure bond, make sure the parts are aligned so the holes align on one side. For mounting the belt mount, two M5x16mm hexagon socket head cap screws will be needed. The holes in the sheath can be threaded using an M5 thread cutter or you can screw the screws directly into them.
