Jacob Jensen Doorbell Base
thingiverse
Jacob Jensen Doorbells are sleek and pricey devices, but their mechanical setup is subpar: Removing the doorbell button without a manual often results in snapping the four tiny hooks from the base. Due to spare parts being difficult to obtain, this frequently leads to a product that's rendered unusable. This design aims to replicate the base while enhancing it with reinforced hooks and an altered lock mechanism, making changing batteries in the doorbell a simple click-off/click-on operation. All that's required to use this is applying some double-sided tape and sticking it on your wall. An alternative design for this doorbell seems to exist at: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1426537
