The existing toilet lid gasket was incredibly soft, which severely restricted how tightly the screws could be screwed in. Within a remarkably short period of time, these gaskets became damaged, causing the toilet lid to fall out of its designated place and rendering the entire retention system completely useless. I took it upon myself to design an improved replacement that would rectify this issue once and for all. By printing this new gasket with a flexible yet significantly harder material than the original, I was able to tighten the screws considerably, resulting in a far more permanent solution than the one that came before it.
