Jackstand Pad 6 ton (Truck)

I saw jackstand pads for sale going for over $5 and thought that was a total ripoff. This pad was designed from my own 6-ton truck jackstands, which are obviously larger than the typical car jack stands found on most vehicles. I'd be happy to make one for them, but first I need to measure their car jack stand to get an accurate fit. If you're interested in using this part for a commercial application, please contact me about redistributing it under a different license. Non-profit educational institutions, the US government, or US state governments that use my items internally (i.e., non-contract work) do not count as commercial uses. Be extremely careful when using these pads - your vehicle may slide on them due to their lower coefficient of friction compared to rubber. The type of plastic used, the levelness of the surface the jackstands are on, and the force applied during maintenance all play a role in this potential hazard. Applying friction tape to the protectors might be necessary to prevent slipping. Be extremely careful when using these pads - they pose shock hazards due to their non-conductive nature compared to the metal jack stand. This can cause changes in conductivity from vehicle to ground, which may lead to electrical shocks. Be extremely careful when using these pads - they also pose fire hazards because plastic is not as heat tolerant as metal and can catch fire, melt, or dissolve easily. Do not let these pads touch hot components of a vehicle, including exhaust parts, welded parts, coolant, fuel, oils, or enraged spouses.
