Jackdaw hunting decoy

Jackdaw created as a hunting decoy. The bird measures approximately 34 cm in length from beak to tail and weighs around 420 grams. I constructed this model using four walls with a thickness of 1.6 mm and a bottom and top plate measuring 0.8 mm thick. To simplify assembly, the bird was printed in three separate pieces held together by two alignment pins. Epoxy glue and black silicone were used to securely attach the parts (silicone was chosen due to slight warping during printing, which it effectively filled). The printing process required nearly thirty hours to complete. This jackdaw is intended for a friend who will add paint to bring out its details, and once finished, I will upload an updated photograph.
