Check out the CAD screenshot, where the circled dimension highlights the ideal length I found to be 46 mm. This measurement worked flawlessly for my project. The hole is specifically designed to accommodate a #8 standard flat head screw, which can be easily sourced in the US. It's worth noting that US-made flat head screws typically have an 82-degree angle, whereas metric screws have a 90-degree angle. If you're using an M4 flat-head screw outside the US, it will only make contact with the very edge of the head, so consider opting for an M4 button-head or socket-head screw instead, paired with a washer to ensure a secure hold. Regardless of your location, be sure to purchase screws that are long enough to pass through the part, drywall, and at least 3/4 inch (19 mm) into the stud.
