Jack Stand Slotted Pad Adapter
thingiverse
My ride (Fiat 500) boasts robust seams for lift points, but that can cause problems when using jack stands. To avoid bending the seam, I created this adapter to secure it in place. My trusty jack stands weigh three tons and likely originated from Harbor Freight; however, I'm unable to find similar models on their website. Printing details: * PCTPE filament courtesy of taulman3d * 0.4mm layer height precision * 1.2mm extrusion width, thanks to my E3D Volcano extruder with a 1.2mm nozzle * 60% rectilinear infill for optimal strength * No solid top or bottom layers, just efficiency As you can see in the first photo, the PCTPE filament adapted to fit the car's contours, but it did deform slightly. After rotating my tires, only a faint indentation remained on the stand, barely visible in the third picture. My car felt rock-solid even when removing a tire. If you decide to print these adapters, I recommend lowering the height of the pads if your vehicle allows it. Unfortunately, my Fiat's limited clearance made it impossible for me to lower the stands further due to their width.
