Jack Piston Connector
thingiverse
This part is designed for a Mack 2.5 Ton floor jack Model 9301 that I purchased at least 15 years ago for a very affordable price. A crucial component broke, connecting the piston to the assembly where the jack handle slides into place. I couldn't find a replacement part anywhere and resorted to using safety wire and makeshift fixes, but these solutions never lasted long. To assemble this 3D printed part, you'll need to print it twice since it's only half of two required parts. The piston features an inset that this part fits snugly into. Tiny holes are strategically placed for safety wire to pass through and secure the piston in place. A hole at the top allows a zip tie to be inserted, which wraps around the top horizontal pin. This setup keeps everything connected while providing the freedom needed for the top pin to move smoothly up and down as the handle operates. At this point, I haven't conducted any long-term testing, but I plan to report back if any issues arise.
