Jack pad

Jack pad

Jack pad designed for ordinary garage car jack. I created this primarily for our two Toyotas - an Aygo and a Verso. It's supposed to fit where you attach the emergency jack according to the user manual. You can't use a garage jack without a pad that fits this spot, or else you'll damage the car. The goal is to make it easy to switch between summer and winter wheels. I printed it in flexible filament to avoid damaging the car body parts. This design allows for printing with any layer height; the finish isn't very important. What matters is the infill percentage - it will take some pressure, so use a relatively high infill. I used Hobby King flexible filament, which isn't super flexible, resulting in a fairly robust block if you're using 70% infill. Print Settings: Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: Any Infill: 70% Notes: The resolution is not important. I believe the infill should be at least 70% to get a more robust build. You'll need to use support, at least for the outer perimeter - maybe you can manage to print the inner bridge without. I used support everywhere.
