Jack O' Lantern Twist Lock Box

[photos and a video coming soon, after the orange filament I ordered gets here] I thought 3D-Printy's pumpkin box was pretty cool, but that the visible latches didn't look fabulous on an organic shape. And, while I was at it, wouldn't it be neat if the lid was cut downward like a real jack-o'-lantern, instead of sideways? And what if the topper you had to twist was just the stem, instead of the whole top of the pumpkin? And if I'm doing that, what's stopping me from cutting the top open with a hexagon instead of a circle? So I did. And, because I love options, you have So Many options for how you want to print this. You have three choices for the cut in the top: Circle, Hex 1, and Hex 2. (Hex 1 is positioned so that three of the points are on the divot lines between bumps in the pumpkin. Hex 2 is positioned so that three of the sides go straight across bumps. They are the same size hexagon. See picture) You can print the lid as one file, or if you're not interested in the amount of support that requires, you can print it split. I included alignment grooves to help you get the pieces lined up when you glue them back together. I also included a version of the gear and spring with a larger connecting peg, as this is a rather large file, and you may want to scale it down a bit. And, of course, you can choose between a blank pumpkin, a small smile, or a big, traditional jack-o'-lantern grin! Note: this box is unlatched by twisting the topper clockwise. If you would prefer to unlatch by twisting counter-clockwise, mirror all pieces. (the topper (both standard and the large circle version) and the upper parts of the split lids may be left unmirrored without affecting functionality, as they are symmetrical other than the stem.)
