This latest upgrade focused specifically on refining key aspects of the design. It sought to make the structure less angular, more akin to a genuine pumpkin. The print itself took place without supports. Initially, I set the printing parameters as follows: 300 micron layer thickness and scaling up to 75mm in height (default settings applied). I chose two shell layers and opted for a 5% infill rate to ensure that the lid retained adequate internal support throughout. For extruder temperature, I selected 233°C to facilitate optimal ABS output. Once printed, I used an emery board to carefully buff away any rough edges or spots on the lid's circumference and the top surface of the lantern itself. Following this step, I proceeded with a separate hot acetone vapor polish for both the top and bottom surfaces, allowing each section to achieve its full reflective potential.
