To create Halloween decorations for my son, I employed glow-in-the-dark PLA filament and battery tea lights purchased from eBay. Although I have no affiliation with the seller, the products arrived promptly and functioned well. The design was adapted from Makies on Thingiverse; I resized the pumpkin and lid to accommodate a candle, added an internal recess for the candle, and removed the maker's name from the base. My candles measured 37mm in diameter and 40mm in height with a flickering flame. To print the body, I utilized a Reprappro Mono Mendel at 0.4 layer height, 30% fill, and raft with Frog Tape on the bed. The bed temperature was set to 65 degrees Celsius, while the nozzle temperature for glow-in-the-dark PLA was 220 degrees Celsius, which is higher than typical for PLA due to better print quality with this material at a higher temperature.
