Jack-O-Lantern Candy Dispenser
thingiverse
The Candy Dispenser Pumpkin is a fun way to dispense candy over the Halloween period. The design features an internal structure that rotates to open and close a hatch in the mouth. It's easy to use - just pour candy into the hole in the top of the stem, then rotate the stem to open the hatch and dispense candy out through the mouth. At standard scale, the dispenser will take candy up to 15mm in diameter. Scale up uniformly to dispense larger pieces, but scaling down is not recommended as it may reduce internal clearances, causing moving surfaces to fuse and prevent the dispenser from rotating. This is an easy print, although it's large and will take a while to complete. At standard scale, the dispenser measures 110mm in diameter and 88mm high, including the stem. It can hold a surprisingly large amount of small candy pieces and can be used for years to come. The pumpkin design looks great in traditional orange or any other color. Don't use automated support - it's been designed out, and you should be able to snap it away easily (see images for details). More than usual clearance has been built-in so the internal part should rotate freely straight off the build plate. If it has fused slightly, try using a craft knife to gently break it free. Please refer to the print instructions and images for additional information, and post pictures of your Candy Dispenser Pumpkin in use for others to see.
