Jabba the Hutt Idol
myminifactory
Worship the Mighty Jabba the Hutt from Star Wars with this handy idol, crafted with precision and dedication. A 123D Catch scan of an unlicensed ceramic Jabba the Hutt figure from the 1980s serves as the foundation for this project. The scan is cleaned up in MeshMixer to ensure a smooth and detailed design. To bring this idol to life, I employed a reliable printing method using four shells with zero infill, which proved to be a successful approach. For added support, Simplify3D was used to create two strategic supports - one in the mouth and another by his left arm. While these supports were deemed necessary, they may not have been entirely required for a smooth print process.
