I had to secure my EV charger by attaching it to one of the round metal pillars in my garage, so I modified MadTreevis' J1772 EV Plug Holder (third option) to add a rounded backing support and slots for large zip ties. I fastened the plug holder to the post using 3M Scotch Extreme Mounting tape and 18-inch zip ties, resulting in an incredibly stable setup.
