I removed the JST connector from the opto coupler and soldered wires directly to the board for better efficiency. ABS or PETG is recommended for printed parts. I used an Hitec HS-40 servo, which can be found here: https://hitecrcd.com/products/servos/micro-and-mini-servos/analog-micro-and-mini-servos/hs-40/product The mounting hole distance is 19 mm center to center. To assemble the model, you will need four 10mm M3 screws: two to secure the whole assembly and two to mount. I used a 3/4 inch brass picture hanging nail as the probe tip, which has a rounded head that works perfectly for its intended purpose and also provides the weight needed to drop the flag when the probe is deployed without relying on a spring. To shape the arm, I cut and modified one of the provided servo horns accordingly.
