Turn your Mostly Printed CNC into a Laser Engraver and Cutter. You can use this mount to engrave all kinds of plastics, light wood, and other materials for cutting thin materials only. To prepare the laser module, adjust it according to the manual first, then add the lid, and turn on the fan to cool down the laser and clean the lens with its airflow. During your first test run, you'll see how it works, as I did in my Engraving Wood video above. Have a look at this newer version of the lid featuring two line lasers if interested! This mount has been tested successfully on the IE version of the CNC machine equipped with 25mm conduits. You might be wondering what else is needed to get started? Here's a list of required items: A 30mm, 12V fan, 4 M3x16 bolts for attaching the fan securely, 2 M3x16 bolts to secure the laser module firmly in place, 6 M4 nuts, 3 M4x16 bolts for mounting the lid properly, and finally, 2 M4x20 bolts for tightening conduit mount safely, plus 5 extra M4 nuts. Stay safe, please!
