J-Head Hotend Cooling System (Double Fan)
thingiverse
This part is an extension to the single fan version for use with an additional axial fan. The job of the axial fan is to cool down the filament after printing, which will improve the printer's quality significantly. I designed that part because I needed a very compact version for my Kossel Mini, and it can be mounted below my platform. The dimensions are identical to the single fan version for (40x40mm) axial fans. More details about the (50x65x15mm) radial fan dimension are shown in the last picture. The radial fan is secured with M3 screws. A small duct is glued and sealed with acrylic silicone for a tight seal. Tip: Use a 20mm thick Maglev (= magnetic leverage) fan instead of a 10mm one to reduce noise levels and increase airflow dramatically. https://www.amazon.com/Sunon-Fan-40x40x20mm-HA40201V4-999-Vapolager/dp/B004ZXA3MS/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_147_t_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=E7PS9547CVW2PENBCY20
