J-Head Groovemount Plate
thingiverse
Recently, I required a groovemount plate following Reprap Wiki J-Head specifications and discovered that all the aluminum plates I possessed (suitable for Arcol.hu, E3D, and other hotends) were 1 millimeter too thick. Unable to locate a printable version fitting my needs on Thingiverse, I decided to model one myself. The extended holes enable slight adjustment of position if your hotend doesn't align with the plate's center, while a slight chamfer on the groove facilitates easy slotting of the hotend, even with minor thickness discrepancies. My prototype was printed in PET at 100% concentric fill; however, any material should suffice if your hotend's cold end is adequately cooled.
