Some of you may know that leaving the SD card inserted inside the iX12 causes significant battery drain. To avoid being without my SD card for my transmitter, I made a device to hold it in place. This simple adapter press-fits into the 4 holes on the back of the transmitter and secures your SD card. It's not complicated or fancy, but it works effectively. I designed two types: one that stores your SD card vertically and another at a 90-degree angle to the side. The side-accessible version is easier to use, but the vertical design makes me feel safer knowing gravity will keep the card in place. I printed these adapters with tree supports using Cura software and it worked very well. As usual, this project is still evolving, and I might make some minor adjustments to optimize the design.
