Iver Johnson Champion Stock and Butt

Iver Johnson Champion 16 Gauge Shotgun My cousin brought me a early 1900s 16 ga shotgun with a broken stock. I took the stock off, did multiple Revopoint Pop 3D scans, and after dusting the stock with a brush and flour - finally got a useful scan. Then, after hours of editing - was able to pull together a model in Solidworks from the mesh and repair it into something useful. I printed everything other than the butt with PLA+. The butt was printed with TPU 95D. Print everything flat side down except the "Stock hard tube" - that should be printed horizontally to strengthen the layers on the x-axis. Use your common sense with wall thicknesses and top/bottom thicknesses. For the PLA+ parts: Walls should be no thinner than 3-4mm with top and bottoms about the same. For the TPU parts: Thinner walls will give more recoil relief, while thicker ones will be stronger. Experiment at your own risk. Hardware: 4mm x 0.7 threaded brass inserts (for 5mm OD hole): 3x - 8mm long 1x - 6mm long 2x - 4mmm long 6x - 4mm x 0.7 pan head, stainless machine screws @ 50mm long You'll have to cut the screws at the correct lengths so they don't protrude from the stock. Use a soldering iron to set the brass inserts into the left stock. It's likely you'll have to run a tap through all of the inserts when done. The inserts go from longest to shortest as you work your way down toward the barrel - Imagine holding the gun so it is pointing at the ground. The longest 3 inserts are the top most ones. The next one slightly down is the 6mm one, and the two at the bottom are 4mm. **Every chamber assembly will be slightly different** To get a perfect fit, I heated the male receiver (the part the stock bolt screws to) with a propane torch. I then fed the assembled stock onto the receiver, and worked it back off. Re-heated, and back on. off and on, re-heat and on. off-and-on. Until it was perfect. I've uploaded the .STLs, .PRT, and .3mf files for use. The .STL and .3mf are the files used for the finished product. I'm not certain if the .PRT files are up to date with the .STL and .3mf files, but I've uploaded them so you guys have something to work with if you want to remix. Let me know if you have any questions in the comments.
