I've had my share of wild ideas over the years, and a lot of people probably think I'm out of touch with reality, but the concept of creating holographic projections is no pipe dream to me. If anything, I believe this kind of technology will give birth to whole new possibilities in medicine and entertainment, which can greatly impact the lives of many ordinary folks around the world. We're not there yet, though - a device that can make three-dimensional objects seem all too real has yet to be invented. And we've had quite a few experiments where the only result is some blurred shapes on an oscilloscope. For me, this is more than just some whack scientific experiment - it's my way of bringing my imagination into focus.
