ITX Motherboard Tray Hex pattern
thingiverse
Mount a lightweight Tray for an ITX motherboard that is secured with mounting pillars, leaving room for you to drill custom holes for mounting screws when the motherboard sits on top of the pillars, then drill 2mm bits through to mount the motherboard. Make sure the plastic won't warp with too many screw-ons and screw-offs so consider melting some matching nuts into the underside using a soldering iron after drilling the straight holes, this way you will get the best result. Instructions are listed for optimal versatility in creating a robust tray for your ITX motherboard. Make this even stronger by not filling it up more than 20% as overfill can cause problems when drilling out holes. If not, add longer screws to increase its durability and don't forget to put melted nuts into the underside for better performance
