This hinge for 4040 ITEM profiles was specifically designed for a DIY laser cutter project. It effortlessly connects two ITEM profiles to each other, which can be securely attached with two M8 x 20mm inner square screws. The joint can be rotated in a straight position up to 90° to the right and left. The screws are used to adjust the effort needed to move the joint. Benefits of this hinge include: • extremely precise and form-fitting • no twisting of the profiles • high stability when the infill is increased accordingly However, it's essential to note that this hinge only works with ITEM light profiles. If used with other types of profiles, all its positive points will be compromised.
