It occupies a unique 1.554 million square foot land, shaped like an inverted trapezoid, with straight edges that curve back slightly, sharing some similarities with another project designed by the architect at around the same time: the Copan building in Sao Paulo. The structure stands tall at 15 stories and 60 apartments strong. This building boasts its own distinct features, making it nearly one-of-a-kind in the city: a ceiling height of 9.8 feet, extensive use of louvers on both sides of the building, and an urban design that was unconfigured over time. Initially, there were no walls or railings surrounding the building, allowing for free access between Sister Serafina Avenue (front) and Rua Coronel Brill (rear), seamlessly integrating public space with private areas through the use of stilts on the ground floor. Increased urban insecurity led to the removal of this characteristic feature of modern architecture, typical of Niemeyer's style.
