I see a really cool project on http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:669597, where you can download the design and puzzle pieces, and I printed it out for my daughter, then I thought to create a storage box to hold the puzzle pieces. I added some paint to mark the major cities of each region, which is also useful for understanding which side should be placed on top. I used hot glue to attach the map to the plastic sheet along the edges and bottom. Thanks to http://www.thingiverse.com/bobosquicci/about for creating the map drawing design.
