Italian Fuel QD Clip Replacement (Ducati Scrambler)
thingiverse
I snapped the QD clips on my Ducati Scrambler while prying off the lines from underneath the tank by mistake. I couldn't find anyone selling just the clips, so I created this solution. So far, it's working for me, but your mileage may vary. I discovered that the same clip is used in many Italian vehicles. Fiat Diesel fuel filters, Vespa/Piaggio/Moto Guzzi fuel pumps all use them. Probably some other models do too... The pictures I posted were from a quick prototype. One of the designs is 6mm tall, one is 5mm tall. Use whichever one works best for you. IMPORTANT UPDATE: Since making these clips, I found a leak issue. The factory clip had a collar that pushed the o-rings down on the shaft and kept them secure. If you install this without the collars in place, the o-rings can creep out of their seats and leak. I got lucky initially, but it was just luck - the o-rings seated properly then. Since then, I machined a small collar that correctly pushes the o-rings into place. You could also reuse the collar from the factory mount if you didn't throw it away. Make sure to use these clips with collars in place to avoid any issues.
