It's a Small World Facade Extensions

It's a Small World attraction is one of my mom's absolute favorites. She always makes sure to hit it up every time we visit. The iconic ride first made its debut at the historic 1964 World's Fair in New York City. This is actually my second foray into 2D art design, and I had an absolute blast creating it. After printing and sharing the Disneyland Small World Façade on Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2660275), I thought it would be a fantastic idea to add the sections to the left and right of the central clock tower. These are the areas where the boats pass under as they enter and exit the show building, and also where the Small World children return to the clock tower. My son deserves huge credit for helping me navigate through the tough design areas in these two sections. Printing was a real challenge due to some of the intricate gold details. Be sure to check out his Disney designs and other creations on Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/B_Layne/designs). These sections were crafted using SketchUp, and printed with eSun PLA+. The models utilize a single extruder, which requires pausing and switching to achieve the multiple colors. Cool white and gold are the two colors used in this design. When printing these files, be sure to use a 0.4mm line width for all parts except the gold details, which should be printed with a 0.3mm line width. A point 1 layer height was used for the top ornaments and the gold details.
