ISUP Bravo pump adapter
thingiverse
The adapter is specifically designed for the Bravo hand pump tube, compatible with various iSUP manufacturers such as Jobe and used on version 4 models. A thick iSUP board can take a considerable amount of time to fill up using the standard two-function hand pump, even when functioning reasonably well. The P18I compressor boasts high volume at low pressure and high pressure at low volume capabilities. When in high-volume mode, it delivers approximately 300 liters per minute, allowing the SUP board to fill up rapidly. However, internal air pressure remains limited at the level of an air mattress. One significant benefit of this solution is that no additional sealing is required since the original HR connector and air hose are used. The adapter attaches directly to the hand pump end of the hose. It's essential to note that when using the high-pressure pump, one must first open the iSUP's valve before turning off the compressor and unplugging the HR connector. Next, connect the hose back to the SUP's valve. Achieving adequate air pressure in FDM-printed parts can be challenging due to limited high-pressure output volume from a small compressor. Even minor imperfections can significantly impact performance. In my experience, I was able to achieve up to 3.5 psi before leakage became too significant through an invisible hole. Applying epoxy varnish to the inner surface made a noticeable difference. Using the high-pressure compression process takes considerable time, especially for thicker boards like 6 inches. If you're in a hurry, consider finishing the job with the hand pump.
