Isteady3 Gimbal Gimbal conversion.

This is currently a work in progress but wanted to share as its close enough for sharing. I am tired on not having a gimbal for my drone and newer gopro's. So I decided to modify the Isteady3 handheld gimbal, this gimbal itself doesn't support the gopro 9 but longer screws 60mm and TPU printed bar that goes over the gimbal and it will work. So I pulled all the parts out designed a box to hold the parts and a mount on top of the box to place the gimbal on. Currently all parts fit and the gimbal powers up and functions, still on my work list is, the custom mount connection to hook it to my personal drone. The plan is to make the housing and mounting detachable so you can print your own mount that connects to the housing. and refine the housing a bit to make it look better. Update: 7-7-21 I modified the housing to give a little snugger fit, as well as added mounting holes for 16mm carbon fiber tube. First flight was not as smooth as I hoped because I mounted it to my retractable landing gear, and the extra weight made leg shake during flight. I think once I hard mount it to the drone and not the movable landing gear it will be just fine. I powered the gimbal of the first cell of my flight lipo as the gimbal is a 1s powered setup. So basically just plug the gimbal into the first cell via the balance connector.
