There are three distinct isomers of cyclooctene, each with a unique conformation of its double bond. The cis (Z) and trans (E) configurations offer two possible arrangements for this molecule. The trans isomer can exist in two enantiomeric forms - RP and SP - based on the planar symmetry of the compound. Molecules are prepared specifically for printing, requiring only two parts to be printed and assembled together with a supporting mechanism.
