isolation foot using fishing gut / stretchable string
thingiverse
This is an isolation foot designed to block vibrations from 3D printers. I built this for my FlashForge Adventurer3, but it should work well with similar printers of around the same weight (about 22 pounds). There are two types: one uses fishing gut and the other a stretchable string. The main difference is in the hole size - 1.5mm for fishing gut and 2.5mm for stretchable string. I also adjusted the shape around each type of hole. I think the stretchable string version performs better, but since I made these recently, I haven't been able to observe how they hold up over time.
