Isobutane Canister Rust Protector

This is a simple snap-on ring designed to fit at the bottom of a 211g (90mm diameter) butane canister, typically utilized for backpacking stoves. These canisters are constructed from steel and consistently leave behind a rust ring on my titanium pot. This ring is created to prevent the bottom of the canister from staining my pot. I have manufactured it out of PLA and it possesses flexibility sufficient to snap into place but retains enough stiffness to remain securely positioned. The design was specifically tailored for the MSR canister, yet it will likely be compatible with other brands as well. This ring can also be used in conjunction with the canister stand feet available on Thingiverse at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4435401.
