Islamic Pattern from the Great Mosque of Cordoba
thingiverse
I began tackling the book Islamic Geometric Patterns by Eric Broug. This design from the Great Mosque in Córdoba was my first project, and I printed it to get a feel for the look and texture of the thing. I'm considering using my CNC router to carve a design into cherry or linoleum to create a stamp, but I decided to upload the model first. I created this in Freecad. It's a bit too large, but I think resizing it in Freecad will be pretty straightforward. If I can master the spreadsheet feature in Freecad, it'll become super parameterizable and easy to customize.
