Simon Gudgeon's magnificent bronze "Isis" now resides in Hyde Park next to the Serpentine, marking a milestone as the first sculpture to do so in 50 years. Beneath its base lies 1000 plaques inscribed with the names of generous donors who collectively raised £2.2 million to establish the Isis Education Centre, designed to empower communities and especially city school children to explore and appreciate the wonders of nature while grasping the importance of safeguarding the environment for future generations. Strategically located at the heart of the Park, this Centre is poised to make a lasting impact. This object forms part of "Scan The World", a groundbreaking non-profit initiative pioneered by MyMiniFactory that is crafting a digital repository of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks, and landmarks from around the globe for public access free of charge. Scan The World operates as an open-source community project; if you have intriguing items in your vicinity and are willing to contribute, email stw@myminifactory.com to learn how you can participate and become a part of this endeavour.
