Isense - Structure Iphone 6s Plus Bracket
thingiverse
I designed a block thicker than an iPhone 6s Plus with rounded corners, then removed some of its model details. I also created a groove for the lens as it slides into place and enlarged the lens hole. I printed this design directly on my MakerBot Replicator 2 build plate with supports for the overhanging parts. The fit is snug but not tight. You'll need to recalibrate your sensor for the iPhone, but if you have an iSense, you won't be able to use Occipital's app for calibration because iSense devices can no longer calibrate on Occipital servers. For quick and dirty 3D scans at home, this should work fine. Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 2 Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: .2mm Infill: 15% Notes: I used three shells to make it stronger. I didn't use a raft, but you might want to. I've been using blue tape wiped with 99% alcohol and the plastic sticks well to it, though a raft could be worth trying if you're unsure.
